    Tatto Joe

    Posted by Marco

    The Secret:

Basically, tattoo joe is a really compact and elastic pantyhose that you hide under your short sleeves.

Here is how to make it:

I now most of us here are guys, but go with your mom or sumthin to your local dollar store and buy yourself a pair of plain pantyhose with no fancy decal on it. Make sure its the tightest size available. Depending on your skin color (not to be racist) Select the tone of pantyhose closest to your skin color. Make sure its tight on your arm.

    Step 2
cut your (sexy LOLZ) pantyhose about the length of your elbow to your wrists. adjust size to your satisfaction.

    Step 3.
get some duct tape and tape around the rims of the pantyhose. The duct tape will keep the panty hose from slipping of your arm.

    Step 4
Now it's time to slip your tattoo joe device on. move the duct tape (either end) all the way up under your armpit area so you can catch the device just in case it falls out. This is a test to see if your device fits. If the device is loose, GO BUY A SMALLER PAIR OF PANTYHOSE. IF ITS THE SMALLEST well, youre pretty much screwed.

    Step 5
    Pattern printing.

Now this probably self explanatory. You can either draw something on the arm (device not your arm) with a dry erase marker. This will allow you to wipe away the stuff if you want to print another image. 2, you can tape your pantyhose to a strong piece of paper (Ideal is art cardboard drawing paper) stick it in your printer and print it from your computer. YOURE PRINTER SHOULD NOT JAM. HOWEVER, IF IT DOES I AM NOT RESPONSiLBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES. DO NOT DO THIS STEP IF YOU HAVE A LASERJET PRINTER THAT NEEDS YOUR PIECE OF PAPER TO GO INSIDE OF YOUR MACHINE AND DISAPPEAR FOR A WHILE. IT WILL JAM.

The rest is pretty much self explanatory. use your hand to cover up your ductg tape area when pul;ing the "tattoo" and roll it back up.

You might want to replace the bottom tape that goes down to your wrist with painter's tape for better flow.

For TWO tattoos just make a second device and put it over the first one. whichever tattoo you want to show first.

    Mental Reading

    (Bangladesh)

THE EFFECT: The magician writes down the names of four different fruits on four pieces of paper. The magician folds them up and asks a spectator to choose one of the four papers.
The spectator is asked to remember the fruit but not to tell the magician. The magician closes his eyes and says the name of the fruit is "mango" and it's the correct answer!

THE SECRET: When you write the names of the different fruits actually write one fruit on all four pieces of paper. However as you write pretend to be writing different words.

For example write "mango" on all the pieces of paper. So whichever the spectator chooses the answer will always be mango.

TIP: After the spectators chooses one of the papers immediately get the other three pieces of paper and put them in your pocket. If not the spectator may well see you have written the same on the others.

You can have a duplicate set of papers with different fruits written on and switch them in your pocket to make the performance that much more amazing!

    Card Jump with Hot Shot

    Posted by Marco

A card is made to jump out from the deck into your other waiting hand and jump back. This card sleight is awesome, when mastered.
You Will Need : A deck of playing cards. A nice bit of patter.
How To Do the Trick :
This card sleight can be used as a trick on its own or used to boost the visual impact of another trick. Just ensure that the card that you wish to "jump" is at the top of the pack ( use your favourite card force to ensure this). The deck is shuffled while being held, bottom long side of the deck, resting against the fleshy part of the thumb. ie biddle grip. The spectator is asked to choose a card and return it to the pack. ( This card should be forced to the top of the pack, using your favourite force. )Hold the deck as seen in the photo. The deck should be held lengthwise between you and the spectator, thumb supporting one lengthwise side and your middle, ring and small finger supporting the other lengthwise side. Your first finger should be touching the short side of the deck, nearest the spectator. Create some misdirection by bringing your free hand over the deck and appear to be squaring it up. Use this cover to slide your first finger under the top card. At the same time, apply pressure to both long sides of the top card by using your middle finger to push the card against the base of your thumb, causing the card to arch like a bridgeThe top card should be pushed slightly further forwards towards the spectator so as to cover more of your first finger. The deck should also be tilted slightly downwards to hide the fact that your forefinger is under the card. Straighten your first finger quickly. This will release the sprung top card which should jump into the air into your awaiting other hand.

    Tarot Reading

    Posted by Marco

You produce a pack of Tarot Cards and invite your volunteer to shuffle them thoroughly. After shuffling them, you take the pack and deal six cards face down on the table, discarding the remainder of the pack. As each card is turned to reveal its symbol, you make startling revelations about your volunteer that convince them you can see into their mind and personality.
    But this easy secrect...

Tarot Reading relies on a technique known as cold reading. It's a technique used by clairvoyants, psychics and mentalists to make a person believe you can read their innermost thoughts. The statements used are specially designed to sound specific to one person and yet they are so general, they actually apply to a large percentage of the population. Look at the statements below and see how many apply to you.
    Imagine if someone claiming to be psychic told you these things;
would you believe they had special powers?
    1. You have a need for other people to like and admire you
    2. You are overly critical of yourself.
    3. You have some personality weaknesses but are generally
    able to compensate for them.
    4. You have considerable unused capacity that you have not
    yet turned to your advantage.
    5. Disciplined and self-controlled on the outside, you are
worrisome and insecure on the inside.
    6. At times you have serious doubts as to whether you have
made the right decision or done the right thing.7. You prefer a certain amount of change and variety
    8. You pride yourself as an independent thinker and do not accept others' statements without satisfactory proof.
    9. You have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing
    yourself to others.
10.At times you are extroverted, affable, and sociable, while
at other times you are introverted, wary, and reserved.
11.Some of your aspirations can be rather unrealistic.
12.You become dissatisfied when hemmed in by restrictions
    and limitations.
13.Security is one of your major goals in life.
Now all you need to perform some cold reading is a pack of Tarot cards and to memorize the above statements. Get your spectator to shuffle the Tarot deck and then ask them to deal six cards face down on the table.
Turn over the cards one by one to perform your reading. No matter what cards turn up, recite the phrases above and try to personalize the phrases as much as you can. You will get far more 'hits' than 'misses'. And think – how many times have you heard a psychic say that the images and names of Tarot cards should not be taken literally in a reading? Now you know why!

    Seven Keys to Baldpate

    Posted by Marco

    Effect

The mentalist displays seven keys and a padlock, explaining that only one of the keys will open the padlock. The keys are dropped in a bag and seven spectators are each given the opportunity to choose a key (well, technically, the seventh one has no choice, but we’re going to avoid getting too picky here).

The mentalist waves a hand over each spectator in turn, and then accurately divines which spectator has the one working key. The lock is undone, the cage door opened, and Baldpate the Gorilla escapes into the audience for a thrilling climax.

    Secret...

The lock, keys, cage, and gorilla are all real. The mentalist knows ahead of time which spectator has the correct key because the key that will open the lock on the gorilla’s cage is brass while the rest are silver (the body of the lock is also brass, to help the mentalist remember what color to look for). The mentalist just watches for the person who picks the odd-colored key, and the rest is acting.

Some mentalists use seven keys that are all the same color and memorize the pattern of teeth on the keys to make the method even more inscrutable. This seems like a lot of extra work for very little gain, as the risk of discovery is slight. Spectators never notice the colors of the keys because they are too distracted by the wild thrashing of the mad gorilla within its cage (not feeding the gorilla for a few days and putting a banana under a spectator’s chair enhances this effect).
